The Swedish Affär – a love story between Swedish creatives and the world!

This year, The Swedish Affär takes place at Rockstar Mansion in the Hollywood Hills, with magnificent views over the Los Angeles skyline. We are bringing you 40 of the most creative and innovative companies within film, music, games, fashion, design, communication and food. The most influential decision makers, top executives and investors are invited and ready to do business.
The Swedish Affär was developed for Swedish companies and talent in the forefront of innovation and creativity, mainly because of the apparent potential these industries have in Los Angeles and Hollywood due to already huge success stories. The purpose is to highlight these companies and individual talent on the U.S. market in order to increase the trade between Sweden and the U.S.
With its laid-back atmosphere, The Swedish Affär creates a meeting place between relevant parties where one is simply allowed to hangout. Being able to talk to new and old friends, meet new business partners, listen to panel discussions and keynote speakers both from the Swedish and American creative sphere is what The Swedish Affär is all about. While enjoying Swedish hospitality, food and drinks you will continue your conversations until late evening. We are expecting over 700 attendees who will enjoy up and coming music performances, DJ sets, drinks and Nordic food prepared by the Swedish national chefs.
The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles, the Swedish Games Industry and Media Evolution organize the event together with the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the Swedish Institute, the Swedish Embassy, the Swedish trade organizations for games, music, fashion, film, television and communication/advertising and private companies.
