The Official Swedish Oscar Party 2016
On Sunday February 28th, the day of the Academy Awards, SACC-LA and the Embassy of Sweden hosted the Official Swedish Oscar Party 2016 at The District by Hannah An. It was an evening filled with glamour and joy as almost 300 guests came to celebrate Swedish success at the Oscars. And it truly was an evening of success as Swedish actress Alicia Vikander won an Oscar for best actress in a supporting role in “The Danish Girl”, and Eva von Bahr and Love Larson got huge recognition for their Oscar nomination in best hair and makeup for their work with the “100 year old man who climbed out the window and disappeared”. With a big screen, drinks, popcorn and candy, all out the guests at the party could enjoy the party without missing one second of the gala.
