On Thursday, December 12, 2019, in the honor of Magnus Lygdback, SACC-LA members and sponsors, guests, friends gathered for the Eliason Merit Award 2019. It was truly Magnu-ficent!

The evening took place at the private Hollywood Hills residence of Jonas Tåhlin, CMO of Pernod Ricard USA and CEO of Absolut Elyx. All guests of the evening savoured great Swedish inspired food and Absolut Elyx cocktails, and enjoyed a private performance by the EMA 2019 recipient Magnus Lygdback’s friends, the world popular Swedish DJ duo Icona Pop! The award was handed out by the hit songwriter and superstar music producer Max Martin, who shared his and Magnus’ beautiful friendship story in the award speech.

All speeches during the evening invited guests to both laughter and tears, and made us all impressed and star struck by Icona Pop’s, Max Martin’s, and of course, Magnus Lygdback’s international career and success.
