Kim H. Swartz Esq. – Entertainment Attorney at MS&K
Kim H. Swartz is an entertainment attorney at the Los Angeles-based law firm of Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP, founded as an entertainment firm in 1908. He represents companies and talent in all areas of the entertainment industry, including the development, production, distribution and financing of motion picture, television and new media projects; merchandising and licensing of entertainment properties; music composing, publishing, recording and distribution; literary publishing; intellectual property, including copyright law; and artist management and agencies.
Before joining Mitchell Silberberg, Mr. Swartz served as the Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs at Republic Pictures and Spelling Entertainment; the Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs and Assistant General Counsel at Saban Entertainment; and as Senior Production Counsel in Studio Legal Affairs and Head of Music Business Affairs at MGM and United Artists Studios.
Mr. Swartz resides in Malibu with his wife, actress and pet expert, Megan Blake, and their rescued horses, dogs and cats.
Annika Hellstrand – Account Manager at Mobiento
Annika works as an Account Manager for Mobiento – one of the top three mobile agencies in the world. Over the last 10 years Mobiento has created more than 2000 mobile marketing concepts, campaigns and applications. Among the clients are industry leaders such as H&M, Volvo, Coca-Cola and Snickers.
Annika has been working with marketing and branding since 2005. Before she moved to Los Angeles she worked in Norway, Hungary and Sweden for Telenor, one of the worlds largest telecom operators. Annika was the Project Manager for the most important international re-branding campaign Telenor has ever embarked upon.
After completing the project she was sent to Hungary to work within their marketing department and help re-brand the Telenor’s youth brand djuice. She also worked as a Product Manager for Garnier, Skin Naturals and Ambre Solare at L’Oreal in Stockholm.
Fredrik Malmberg – CEO and President at Paradox Entertainment
Fredrik Malmberg co-founded Paradox Entertainment in 1999. Mr. Malmberg serves as the company’s President and CEO, and directly oversees film development as Producer. Malmberg facilitated the purchase of Conan and the Robert E. Howard library on behalf of Paradox Entertainment and continues to manage the exploitation of the properties through various media and licensing. He is also the President and CEO of the Sweden-based parent company Paradox Entertainment AB (publ).
Prior to his positions at Paradox Entertainment, Mr. Malmberg was Founder and CEO of Target Games for 19 years. At Target, he developed many successful international character brands across a broad range of product categories, including Mutant Chronicles, Chronopia and Kult. He also built a successful retail chain of Tradition gaming stores in Sweden. Mr. Malmberg is a member of the Producer’s Guild of America.
Lotta Alsén – President of SACC-GLA
Lotta Alsén is the founder and CEO of Quickenings, a leadership company that has created several methods for leadership and entrepreneurship, including the licensed trademark methodology CORE in Sweden, originally funded by the EU. Currently, Quickenings is developing a Leadership Computer Game, training future Jedi Warriors, based on the Quickenings method.
