SACC-LA understands that people from all over the world love Los Angeles and never, or at least not yet, want to leave. That is why we want to invite you for free to come and listen to experts in the area about the different possibilities you actually have! Afterwards we will move on to a bar nearby where you can mingle with the experts and other guests.

Topics will include an overview of temporary visa categories such as F-1 student visas, J-1 exchange visitor visas, and H-1B professional visas, as well as “green card” categories through employment sponsorship, investment, and marriage/family. Other topics will encompass options to extend and/or change status in the U.S.. Panelists include:
Michael Harris
Michael Harris has over 15 years of experience in business immigration law, representing clients in various fields. Mr. Harris’ broad experience includes H-1B, L, TN, O, P and E visas, as well as labor certification, immigrant visa petitions, EB-5 investor petitions, and national interest waivers. Mr. Harris’s practice is currently focused on EB-5 investor visas and employment based immigration matters.
Carl Davidson
Carl Davidson is the former VP of Young Professionals for the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce-Chicago and has been practicing immigration law since 2006. He has represented a diverse array of corporate clients. He has also worked with international students and academic institutions on F-1, J-1, SEVIS and STEM degree issues.
