Code of Conduct
Our Code of Conduct defines the values and standards by which The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce – Los Angeles conduct business. It is designed to provide members an understanding of the standards of conduct we uphold within the SACC-LA organization and toward external parties. The Code of Conduct is intended to be a road map to guide our actions and behaviors in the SACC-LA network.
We reserve the right to refuse membership to anyone at any time for any reason without explanation. If we observe or learn of anyone engaging in behavior that we feel is harmful to the atmosphere that we are trying to promote, then we reserve the right to terminate that person’s or company’s membership immediately.
At our events, virtual and in-person, we respectfully request that everyone use the spaces we create as intended, be considerate of others, communicate with respect, and act responsibly. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment free of bias or discrimination for everyone. We may take action against persons not behaving respectfully, including barring such persons from participation.
SACC-LA also recognizes the importance of supporting a sustainable future. Aware of its influential role, SACC-LA is dedicated in all its endeavors to the following principles. SACC-LA believes that the Swedish entrepreneurial and green legacy can play a pivotal role in the green transition and is committed to promoting solutions which support a more sustainable future.
SACC-LA upholds a strict zero-tolerance policy against any form of bribery and corruption. We actively collaborate with our partner companies to prevent such misconduct.
SACC-LA is a non-political entity, free from alignment with any specific party or ideology to ensure that our focus remains on fostering trade, commerce and investment between Sweden and the U.S.
The code of conduct is valid and remains in place unless updated or terminated by SACC-LA.
